Morello designs and produces ATEX, IECEx and NEC UL 583 (Class 1 & 2, Division 1 & 2 ) transporters and explosion-proof trolleys for the Oil & Gas, chemical, and mining sectors, as well as for paint booths and industries requiring explosion-proof equipment to mitigate explosion risks.
Offshore platforms and ships, along with onshore plants, require effective onsite handling services for large loads. Heavy machinery such as large engines and heat exchangers often need to be transported in confined spaces that are inaccessible by cranes; therefore, explosion-proof trolleys are used for this purpose.
Our explosion-proof motorized trolleys and ATEX/IECEx/UL583 trucks are specifically designed and customized for these demanding and hazardous environments.
FLEXIBILITY
In the limited spaces of offshore platforms and ships, efficient load movement is crucial. Our explosion-proof trolleys are equipped with an omnidirectional steering system, allowing for carousel rotation (rotation around its center), lateral movements (90°), diagonal movements, and other steering modalities.
SAFETY
Each EX trolley is equipped with explosion-proof components, certified according to the operating area (Class 1 and 2, Division 1 and 2, Zone 1 and 2, gas and dust). When required, EX trucks can be supplied with the necessary certifications.
SUITABLE FOR HARSH ENVIRONMENTS
Given the challenging conditions in which explosion-proof motorized trolleys and pallet jacks must operate, we have designed a completely waterproof structure with electrical components protected to IP69 standards. Morello’s EX transporters can also be equipped with stainless steel components that undergo specific painting cycles to withstand the harshest environments.
